No Taxation without Representation
The fact that King George III was asking for money outside the circular flow of economics was really an issue for the British colonists. Remember your song all year long if you can. Keep that flow going so we can relate it to the chart on economics. They wanted to stay subjects of the King but could not tolerate a taxation that went to England and did not benefit the new colonies.
